Robinhood’s first standalone crypto app needed a fresh look and feel to stand out from a growing competitive landscape. We partnered with The New Company to develop an updated identity that was built off our pre-existing crypto branding. Taking visual cues from the wonderfully weird world of Web3, we elevated our illustration style by adding more dimension, color, and texture that reflected the artwork found across the NFT space. We also added a touch-based aura into the product experience intended to allow users to “interact” with a purely digital experience.
